Kolby is in 2nd grade. He has spelling words every night. This week, the teacher wants them to take practice tests every night to see how they progress. He missed two words last night; only because he wasn't listening. lol. He also now has a Saxon reading hard cover book. We read Mudge and Me last night. So far, that is it. No math, yet.

Dylan is in 3rd Grade and has a Math packet that goes home every Monday, so he has one page to do for mon, tue, wed, and Thursday, then it all is turned in Friday.

He has spelling words to be written 5 times each every night.
Then has a paper front and back of passages to read and eliminate multiple choice questions, about two problems per night.

Amber is in 1st Grade and so far has spelling words and site words every week to work on each night.
then a story to read on the back of the spelling words sheet where she has to write answers to questions about the story.

The spelling words she has to write three times each, write sentences for all 10 spelling words, and use the words in a story.

Each child is said to have 15 minutes of reading a night for homework, but we read throughout the week before bedtime and when I tuck them into bed, they read to me, or we discuss it, or i read to them.
