They are still up early.

I'm an early riser myself but I really enjoy my quiet time. My youngest doesn't get that message! He's been up at 6:30 every morning the last week. He's just very aware that he needs to be quiet so everyone else can sleep or he has to go back to bed. It's getting better as they get older but they are still up way too early. I'm sure the day will be here too soon when I'm complaining about them sleeping until noon as teens!

Keep the kids running all day & half the night.

Oh I wish that would work. LOL. I can keep Riley up past eleven and he'll still be up at 7. o_O. Kolby usually doesn't get up until around 9. I let him sleep in during the summer.

I used to tell my kids they could get out of bed but had to play quietly in their rooms until Mama got up. Maybe it would work for you.

We had to totally change schedules this summer. They're going to bed pretty late - 9pm - and getting up at 7am, which is sleeping in for us! During the school year they wake up as early at 5:30 am when DH gets up to go to work. Ick!
