To all the parents out there who have grade schoolers who are left handed.

How did you help your child to not be confused when they see their friends writing right handed, but your child is left handed?

My middle child, Amber, almost 6, is left handed, she writes well for her age, but unless there's lined paper a lot of the time she slants due to turning her paper the way she sees her peers writing, but they are right handed.

Thanks for any help!!

I don't have any lefties, but my sister is a lefty, so I asked her. It just comes with time. She can remember trying that as well, but it feels unnatural so it didn't take her long to stop. Soon, she will thrive because of her difference and realize that everybody is right handed, only special people are left-handed. LOL. HTHs...maybe some of the other moms have experience with this.
