With bullying making more and more headlines, New Jersey has implemented a new Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights effetive September 1, 2011.

It mandates that schools have to come up with antibullying policies for the upcoming school year.

I do not think legislation like this goes too far.

I think that the law is needed, but I wonder how effectively it will be implemented.

I don't know how they expect the teachers to police it either.
I wonder if local law enforcements would be expected get involved where before they didn't. IDK.
It's sad that we had to lose so many children for someone to take notice.

I don't know how they would police it either. With budget cuts around the country, often leading to less teachers and bigger class sizes, it just seems to be unfair to the teachers to add another thing. It would be interesting to find out if law enforcement is required to get involved.

Yeah, teachers are overloaded already without adding to their duties.
