or just about over, what would you say is the biggest accomplishment or improvement your grade schooler made this year?

Wow! My ds came into 1st grade as a beginner in reading, math, etc... and left reading excellent, strong in math, and ended up with a perfect report card! He also has learned to control his emotions a bit more. He still will cry at some things, but he used to cry over EVERYTHING! It drives me and dh nuts. He quit soccer in Kindy after the other goalie had the nerve to stop his ball from going in! Lol. He was never a team player, and is becoming a much better team player. Dd was always a great student. She was involved with 13 different activities this year, and still pulled off 3 A's and 2 B's for her report card.

Ramona  Mom to 2 great kids and wife to one wonderful hubby since 1990!

WOW! That is awesome!

As for us. AJ excelled in reading, but really became a much better team player this year. So much so in fact, that we enrolled him in T-ball and our first practice is tonight!

AJ also came home with excellent marks in most subjects except writing...his writing is a bit on the sloppy side.
