Online Study of Parenting Practices

Dear Parents,

I am a child development researcher in the psychology department at Harvard University. (I also have 5- and 7-year-old kids of my own.) I have recently been studying what children understand about the emotions that are connected to behaviors like pushing, hitting, and stealing. I am also interested in how parents respond to these types of behaviors in children. I am currently conducting an online study of this issue, and I would be grateful for your participation.

If you are the parent of a 3-10-year-old child, and are interested in participating, please use this link: http://harvard.psr.keysurvey.com/survey/276769/17b2/

By taking part in this research, you will be entered in a drawing for one of four $50 Target gift cards. Importantly, you will also help us learn more about how parents handle some of the more challenging caregiving moments.

Please feel free to email me with any questions:

Thanks so much,
Craig Smith
