peanut policy or lack there of question

I have a picky eater who is starting kindergarten tomorrow. He is going to a different school then my oldest and I totally forgot at orientation to ask about the peanut policy. I checked the website and handbook and nothing says its a peanut free zone. DH seems to remember when we went to the open house they said something about a peanut free table but this is how older DS camp and school does it and DH isn't great with details so don't know if he really remembers or is just used to it. I have tried to get DS to try other options but he is set on a peanut butter sandwich and since he has to go to an after school too its a LONG day to go if he refuses to eat his lunch. Now other schools we looked at were clear they were peanut free so seeing as there is absolutly nothing in any documentation do you think its safe to assume its not peanut free?!?!?

If there is no clear documentation, no signs as you walk in the building, no nothing else, I would assume that there is no policy.  It can't hurt to call and just double check.  They may very well only have a student or two and keep them segregated somehow during lunch time.

well we went with peanut butter sandwich no issues...yah. Can barely get him to eat his breakfast and he is at school until 5 if he couldn't have his sandwich he probably refuse to eat and then be a cranky mess when he gets home.
