Teacher & Child Don't Get Along?

What should you do when your child doesn't like his teacher? Should you call the principal or sit in on the class? Or should you brush it off as a normal childhood grievance and move on?

I have dealt with this before and my advice would be to not brush it off. I did and so my DS stopped talking to me about it. Turns out his teacher was slapping him and calling him stupid. She was removed halfway through the year when the truth came out. I could have saved him a whole semester of grief. :(
