AJ's first day of school was a big bust. I knew he would have a bit of trouble transitioning from summer back to school, but to actually have as bad of a day as he had went beyond my own thoughts.

He not only disrespected classroom rules, he deliberately ignored his teacher and her requests for him to please listen, follow direcitons and respect his classmates.

I'm sorry that he had such a bad day. Hopefully tomorrow will go better ~ and since his teacher knows that he needs to keep busy, maybe she can work harder to keep him challenged...it would be easier on her if she did and better for AJ too!

((hugs)) all around. Tomorrow is a new day ;)

I think that a good teacher should prepare a second project for him to do when he is finished. Even it's just to draw. This should be given to him as soon as he is finished with his 1st. Not everyone works at the same speed. At this age it's hard to sit and do nothing. Try waiting at a doctors office that has no interesting toys in it.... Or in line at the Supermarket....

Thanks,
