Here are several problems solvers you might want to consider
I. One available both or more want it. This one happened at an airshow Dad brought his binoculars, Daddy David won't share!!! Solution timeshare: Ok each one get's to use them for 5 minute the other can be a timekeeper using Dad's watch. Problem solved.
2. Property ownership. Dad Eddie won't stay out of my room. Solution Pawn Shop. Take a security deposit out of each room like a valued object like a special toy. Your the Pawn Shop if either violates stay out of other room they forfeit there security deposit for XX days.
3. Chore not done. Solution violation & fine. Show no emotion dock allowance x amount do it again xx and so on. Busted reassign work load. Kids aren't stupid they catch on real quick.
4, Loan request Dad can I have xxx. Solution Bank interest and repression. Drawn up loan agreement with terms he signs it make copy give to him. and treat just like adult
5, Bad behavior. Solution banishment. Again no emotions off to their room close door, play exciting activity with other(s) he miss out make sure he hears what's going on, If he sneaks out Pawn Shop.
Welcome to the board! What a wonderful, new perspective! We love hearing from BTDT parents.
We do use some of these methods; just not as consistently as we should.
Thanks for stopping by.
Just wanted to add my welcome as well!! Stop by anytime!
