When Do Yours Complete Their Homework?

This is a great question b/c I've heard advice for both having them do it right away after school and for letting them wait awhile first. And of course, each side swears their way is right, lol.

We actually don't seem to stick with one particular time. Iif they have neighborhood kids come by to play, I usually let them do that first, before it gets too dark outside. My 9 year old actually prefers to get his done right away to get it over with but my almost 13 year old is a terrible procrastinator.

At first I thought this thread asked WHERE do yours complete their homework and I was chuckling to myself since my youngest son literally did his homework in the middle of the kitchen floor yesterday. I have no idea why, LOL. But I decided to "pick my battles" and let it go since at least he was doing it!
