Well it is humpday, YAY! I love Wednesdays because we are closer to the weekend.
What does your grade schooler do on teacher in-service days?

Luckily DH has a lax job so when the kids don't have school, they stay home and act like it is a weekend. And even if he were to work that day, my older kids are old enough to babysit.

I'm a stay at home mom, so part of my job is working around their schedules. We usually treat it as an extra vacation day. Today the kids are home because of Veteran's Day. We went to the store, picked up some movies and they have been working their tooshies off getting their chores done.

LOL we didn't get off for Veteran's Day. The week of Thanksgiving, tho, the school has set up special days on Monday Tuesday and half a day Wednesday; if the kids do good on their benchmarks, they get those days off, but if they don't, they have to go and get tutored. For the little ones, who don't have benchmarks, like Kolby I guess it is teacher discretion whether they go or not. Kolby has already informed me that he has to go. How long do you guys get for Thanksgiving?

I think the kids are out for that Wed, Thurs and Fri. But we are taking the whole week and heading over to their aunt's house to spend the holiday with that part of the family.
