Anxiety and Depression

Sorry that you two are struggling right now. Things can get better:)
When dealing with a child/teen with depression, there are some common things that are overlooked. I don't know your personal situation so I'll just give a general idea of what I mean. Some children are extremely empathic, which means they feel not only their own feelings but others around them as well. When they do not know consciously that this is happening, they become full up on all the feelings, thoughts, pain around them because as an untrained empath, it feels like you are experiencing your own feelings. When in truth you feel combined feelings. This makes your feelings heightened and can easily overwhelm a person. If your child is empathic, there are simple things to do to help clear things up.
Another example is when children have natural psychic abilities, some of the kids that I've worked with pull in Spirits(meaning people who have crossed over) to them, some even hear the Spirits, so they can have anxiety as well and a lot of negative energy around them, which can also cause depression. Again, there are easy things to do to clear this up.

Are any of the other regulars tired of new posters coming on and trying to sell/offer/suggest/inform us of their services and products?
I was under the impression that this board was a discussion board.....making suggestions, offering advice and informing are all part of sharing. I am in NO way trying to sell anything. I really could care less....I will see NO money, and my daughter has not and will not receive any funds for this movie. She has put in more than 300 community service hours while writing and directing the movie for a NON PROFIT organization whos sole purpose is to empower teenagers. Project Aware (I suggest you possible look at their website), has done amazing work helping teens deal with everything from child abuse, drug abuse, sexual abuse, bullying....etc. The DVD is being distributed for FREE to every high and middle school in the state of Maine.
Oh my, yes! I have reported some of these, but the mods don't seem to care unless it's super obvious blatant spam, with a link or something.
Spam can be subtle and it is just as annoying! By the way, I have some wonderful hand cream that will really help with your dry skin....
