Adult men looking at teen girls

I was out with my 15 yr old niece the other day and I was a little disturbed by what I saw. Shes growing into an attractive young lady. A lot of teenage boys were checking her out. I became kind of protective of her but I guess its natural.

However what really disturbed me was when I saw a few grown men check her out. I was literally taken aback. I've had similar experiences with her at the beach.

For gods sake, what are adult men doing looking at teen girls?

Has anyone else ever experienced this? Have adult men in this day and age really become so perverted?

Maybe I'm being really prude or something, but theres just something about people in their (20's ehh ok, I guess they could get a break)30's and 40's or hell even older, checking out a 15 yr old girl.

Wrong? No.
IMHO there are bigger issues to contend with, than someone “looking” at our DD’s. As long as the “looking” doesn’t turn into something obnoxious.

Rose, I also intensely work out on a regular basis. I would probably notice those young men as well with their rock abs and belly buttons that don’t recede into their tummy, thinking the little bastards can probably eat big macs all day long. LOL.. It certainly doesn’t mean I have any ugh… “interest” in them.
However, as HeartsandRoses points out, our society has sexualized practically everything and it has muddied the waters between admiring and being creepy.

LOL Daddioe. Your comment reminds me of something my BIL said a few months back - he's 35 y/o and an instructor at one of the USMC schools. As instructor, he has to lead PT, and he's expected to be better at it, stronger with more endurance, than any of his students who are all 10-15 yrs younger. So you know he works out a LOT. A few months ago, HE was lamenting that he's getting old, he just doesn't "have it" like he used to - meaning the rock hard abs, pecs and 'ceps. Coulda fooled me - that man looks GOOOOOD! And I'm not lusting after my sister's husband! ;)

I agree, I have bigger fish to fry IMHO. I will admit I have admired several young men at DD's HS. We are all human, well most of us. In fact, in the mall today I was envious of a young lady's flat stomach and her ability to wear the fashion in jeans today.

As I walked up behind her to stand in line, I overheard her conversation where she lamented...I always put on weight between Halloween and New Years and just don't know how I am going to get rid of this holiday bulge. For fear of being arrested only, I resisted the urge to slap her. The only bulge in this girl's pants was her cell phone. Just to prove I was right, I moved up in line and bought my sugar filled soda and one pecan turtle (I was using moderation I wanted 2 pecan turtles)!
