Okay..so I know I have ranted, raved and carried on about my oldest ds who is about to turn 19 before...the last time I was here, he had moved into an undesirable living situation with friends, and I was complaining about that! Well, there are times we really should count our blessings! It really wasn't *that* bad! Hind sight really is 20 20! Now ds has met a young woman I will call *T* and *T* is four years older than ds and is divorced, living at home with her mom, and has a four year old ds. It gets even better.

I wouldn't want it if it was my kid either but not much you can do about it.

Ugh sorry to hear this, Jakesmom. I will admit when I first saw the title I thought that maybe your ds had gotten a girl pregnant. I certainly would have had lots of advice on THAT one! Hopefully the relationship won't last long. If I remember correctly your ds wasn't working - did he find a job? I agree with music - sounds like this poor child may be headed for a childhood full of revolving door daddies...

Not true.

And I'm glad my mother-in-law didn't feel that way.
