My daughter had mono back around the beginning of the school year. She isn't sick anymore, as in no swollen glands, sore throat, aching ribs, etc...but after six months, she is STILL soooo

DD had mono in the 6th grade, she is in the 8th now.

She was diagnosed in November, right after Thanksgiving.

I have to say, I agree with sabrtooth on this one. In addition to the things she mentioned, sleeping a lot, not wanting to do the things you used to enjoy,

Sleep, no, but did play video games longer for a while, which was not his norm at that time, and once he felt more energetic, that stopped.

Altho there is no treatment per se for mono, your dd SHOULD be under the continuing care of a dr.

Did he sleep 3-4 hours after school, or take long naps a lot, or did he try to be active?

DS19 had it around Halloween of his soph year in HS - it took til about the end of May that year to regain energy and have his organs go back to normal (stop swelling) so that was 7 months.
