My grandmother used to make a rolled out/cut out sugar cookie that was melt-in-your-mouth to die for!

Well, Julie, I like them, but I can't have that much stuff around that only I like...for reasons you mentioned in your post. I am not pregnant so I can't use that as an excuse to gain 12 lbs!!! Hahaha -

H has his traditional faves: Chocolate Oat Nut Chip, Mexican Wedding Cakes, these crazy bar cookies that I make that are all ooey and gooey, and Milk Chocolate Florentines. My girls have their faves which consist mostly of butter cookies, Mexican Wedding Cakes, and some almond cookie I made last year for the very first time that they loved. I am with the girls. The only time I like chocolate chip type cookies is when they are fresh from the oven.

And the cream of the crop is this old recipe that was passed down from my grandmother on my father's side who I only met twice before she passed away a long time ago. She was straight from Poland and I guess this was one of her special treats...and I know why. They are Cinnamon Nut Rolls made with a yeast. You get 96 per batch and they are amazing. Kind of like little cinnamon sticks but rolled up and bite sized. You can freeze them and take them out, pop them in the oven for 5 minutes and it's like they were just baked. Yum. If anyone wants that recipe, let me know - it's quite an ordeal, but well worth it.
