PS: Being a mommy is a strange and scary thing for a teen or just post-teen girl. And not so easy for the daddy either. When you get the hang of it all they and you and grandpa are going to have a blast. Enjoy every moment. These are our golden years and this past year has been very golden for us. I know it will be for you'll toooo!!!!!!

Oh yeah, you've been blessed! And he's a cute one too!

A very considerate little guy also. He came at a decent hour on a weekend and waited for his granny to get home from a place as hot as hell.

And he also come before grandma had to leave to go to KY to welcome his uncle back to the states after a year in Afghanistan!

He's just adorable, Rose! So happy for all of you and I'm glad that Tim's out of the dog house with N! That's great if the breasfeeding works out but if not - I'm firmly convinced that God created the people that created Enfamil ! My boys were both bottle babies and - while not perfect - I think they turned out pretty darn good!

Congratulations, grandma! That's so exciting. As others have said, don't worry about the breastfeeding. It does take a bit of practice for the baby as well as his mama. Their pediatrician may also have a lactaction consultant in the practice who can help.

Adorable!! Kudos to you for being so helpful and supportive for BFing! I tried initially for ODD when I had her at 18, but had no help or support at all and gave up very quickly. I wish I had had that support. I XBFed both younger girls and I loved it to death! She's lucky to have such a supportive mom!

Congratulations, and I am glad to hear that mom and baby are doing well! As for the breastfeeding, I am with Pam. God created the people who 'invented' Enfamil! I was a bottle baby long before there was formula and I think I turned out ok too. And dd being adopted was a formula baby. Breast may be 'best' but it isn't always doable...

Enjoy that baby and have a safe trip to see your son!
