I am back to re-introduce myself!
I am Virginia 33, Married Tony 36 for almost 16 years(in April) we have 6 kids, Brandon is 16, Emily 12, Kaitlin 9, Megan 7, Cami 6, and Ryan 4!!
We live in Sandy, UT with 2 boston terriers, Porkey and Junior. I am a SAMH and Tony is an electrician!

I don't seem to make it here often because it seems that I have more issues with the younger children and I am on those boards more! Brandon is a pretty good kid, he has been a bit disrespectful the past couple of days and we took away is video games for a few days! He has changed his attitude and said he is sorry and I am not sure if it is just because he wants his games back or if he is truely sorry for the way he thinks he can talk to us!
I like to stop by here and see what advice is being given out and some of it helps me and I feel for those of you who are going through terrible time with your teens I wish you all the best and I hope that I can stop by again soon!!
Virginia

Thank for the welcome again! Glad to be here!!
Next week is Utahs competency test that the kids have to pass in order to graduate, and this year Brandon is in 10th grade and will take the test for the first time ever, I hope that he passes now so we do not have to worry about it for the next 2 years of high school! The test is divide into 3 parts: Writing, Mathematics(with a Calculator), and Reading, it will be taken over 3 days! I am nervous for him because he is under an IEP, I hope that the test is not too hard for him! I did call the school and was told that since he is under an IEP he will be tested in his classrooms under the dirction of the Special Education Department!! This makes Brandon and I feel a lot better and they are practicing for this test in his classes, but still if they do not pass these tests by their senior year they do not graduate from high schoool!!
