Can I say "yes" (you are a nervous nellie) and still agree with you? LOL I'd be nervous too! I was not a nervous snow driver when I was a kid - I'm more nervous now - and I can't imagine when L gets her license.

Rose, what's the male counterpart for a nervous nellie?

DD is working 13 hours today at the mall. I'm NOT looking forward to her driving home this evening. Looks like we got the same storm cell. Another 3 inches expected, turning to ice.

You have every right to be a "nervous nellie mama." I just read this thread and am so glad she called for you to pick her up. She doesn't have enough experience to handle a slippery situation yet. It's a good thing you didn't take the valium though - since you had to drive in it. It may be good to relax and take it now that she's home safely LOL.

I think she showed a lot of maturity, calling you to come get her like that. She was right not to drive if she was scared, or if she felt uncomfortable. I've even done that as an adult, and I've been driving for 30+ years.
