Kimmy, are you SURE you like living there?
very silly. Breast feeding is not a shameful act that should be hidden. This mom was being careful; they should have been no problem.
Would they have wanted her to use a change room? I don't know about Texas but she would not have been allowed in the change rooms with her cart and well, change rooms are for customers trying on clothes. There is usually a line up. If the store is so concerned about safety (i.e. she was blocking the aisle etc..), provide a nice room for nursing moms in the store. We do that. It is separate from the bathrooms and clean. Moms are free to use it or not use it. No big deal.
Oh I just can't see why people get so offended by breastfeeding when most moms cover themselves w/ a blanket and you can hardly tell what they are doing.
Oh, my, YES!!
That story was purtty ridiculous. I had read something about the proposed "nurse-in, or boob-in" whatever they called it, but hadn't seen the whole story in detail. I CAN see the employees being concerned about someone sitting on the floor with an infant during the busy shopping period- so bring the lady a chair!
