So my question is: Why did YOU have kids? Do you forsee spending a lot of time with them, and your grandchildren, as they get older?
My mom remarried when I was a preschooler and had three more children. She worked full-time and went to school part-time until I was in 8th grade, so I raised my siblings a lot. Instead of resenting it, I loved it (okay, I'm sure it was a bit of both). I always wanted kids, because I just thought that raising kids was the best job in the world. I suppose if I were curing cancer it might be a contest, but other than that, what can compare to raising a human being (hmmmm... this sounds kind of like a God complex, but that's just the way it's coming across!).
You should tell her, they ALL have squinty eyes and a pointy head for a while after they're born.
Babies, when they are first born, often have this strange look like, what the heck has happened?
Wyatt Roy is cute!
And I assume doing well after surgery.
What else do we have to do with our evenings? LOL
LOL you see how little I know. And no, hubby and I wear pjs of some type....most of the time. We have bodies that look best when covered. LOL you may recall the old saying about the girl being a double bagger, meaning she is so bad looking that not only she should wear a bag over her, but the guy should wear a bag so not to see anything. That is me without cloths. Hey darling turn off the light before I come out. LOL
I ask no questions, but one time when it was just us girls in the spa the girls were saying how much they enjoy skin against skin. Younger couple can even share a twin bed. Hubby and I spread out over a king.
I'm for whatever works for the couple. However, when the kids get older you can't or shouldn't be nudests. I guess that makes me an old prude.
It has been fun watching them figure it out, that's for sure.
Kimmy, I hope they aren't sleeping al fresco, because that means outdoors!
That's what newlyweds do, not old folks like hubby and I.
