Hi everyone,
well I have been surfacing all over the WWW in search of answers to my broken heart. I have three teenagers and expect them to do well in school, this year my 13 year old daughter stopped trying and began flunking every class, like most moms I took away her privilages. Now, she has decided to live with her father and has falsely accused me of reasons as to why as she said I am a "b----". Well I can't sleep and I cry all the time, her father is enabling her behavior and I am so confused!! Not to mention there is a huge gap in my life. Does anyone have any advice for me??

thank you,
I look forward to meeting you all...

Wow - it sounds like you are going through a very tough time. I would suggest that you look for a counselor - either just for you or for you and your daughter together. Most teens go through an "I hate Mom" phase - but it sounds like your daughter is troubled about something and might need some help talking about it. Also, instead of taking away privileges, being mad, and being sad - try asking your DD to talk to you about what's bothering her. Maybe she'll be able to move beyond name-calling and tell you what's up.

Thank you for your thoughts, I have been wanting to get her into a counselor for a few months but her father didn't think she needed to....I will not be second guessing myself and
