For those of you with
Ramona Mom to 2 great kids and wife to one wonderful hubby since 1990!
It sounds as though you do things the opposite of the way we do things in WI - we have heavy duty furnaces that have no problem keeping the house warm to 0 and below (it's not unusual for us to have a stretch of -20 degree weather every winter) but have lighter duty AC, while you folks have heavy duty AC and light duty furnaces.
Peoria has their annual Polar Bear Plunge every January 1!! Not for me, either!
Ah ya sissies!!!
You know Sabr, I started out that post saying the Polar Plunge was on New Year's Day because I remember seeing it on the Milwaukee news when I was in high school, but then when I went looking for a link to share with our southern friend the link I found for our area has the plunge in February or March.
It's cold enough for me here in New England--I don't think I could stand to live anywhere the temps regularly got below zero.
better yet, lets send our 19 yr olds off to an island to hash out our their problems!
