...yeah, love getting up here in St Louis at 5:30 in the morning and already having a heat index...
(We were in Wisc over the weekend and I can vouch for the 98 on Sunday - we were outside all day and just dripping!)

It sounds as though you do things the opposite of the way we do things in WI - we have heavy duty furnaces that have no problem keeping the house warm to 0 and below (it's not unusual for us to have a stretch of -20 degree weather every winter) but have lighter duty AC, while you folks have heavy duty AC and light duty furnaces.

You know Sabr, I started out that post saying the Polar Plunge was on New Year's Day because I remember seeing it on the Milwaukee news when I was in high school, but then when I went looking for a link to share with our southern friend the link I found for our area has the plunge in February or March.
