Dad and daughter road trip

DH wants to help his mom buy a house - and maybe buy it for her, so we can use the investment - so this weekend, he's driving 4-5 hours to meet her in a town he thinks is a good fit for her. He asked DD to go with him - for the company and to keep him sane while interacting with MIL. At first, DD was reluctant ("what if I have too much homework?"), but I pushed the idea of a "road trip" because I know they'll have fun, just the two of them together. Or they'll kill each other ;-)

That leaves DS7 and me home alone, lol, also trying not to kill each other! Right now we're decorating for Hannukah, listening to the Beatles (gotta love a boy who knows all the words to "All You Need is Love"), and planning to see Happy Feet later.

I hope you're enjoying your weekend -- and that DH and DD get home safe and sound and still liking one another!

What a great opportunity!
Let us know how the road trip goes.
I'll bet they both come back with an even better appreciation of each other.

PS..
I'm amazed and encouraged at the number of young Beatles fans.
There's still hope for the world..... :-)
