From vodka eyeballing to ball tapping to rainbow parties (no leprechauns involved -- just two girls, one boy and a lot of lipstick love -- eek!) and more, many teens are endangering their lives with risky behaviors.

Just 2 I think that aren't around here- one is the pool thing because I don't think there's one single outdoor pool in my entire county.

A few of these are also misleading...sure, sports stars and celebs have access to docs that will write scripts, that "purple drank" is actually ANY color and most used OTC med everybody else uses is the green nighttime Nyquil. Guiefeson, probably spelled that wrong, the main ingredient in other OTC cough remedies is another big one if they can't get the multi-ingredient Nyquil. MOST of the active ingredients in any of these cough/cold remedies will get somebody high if they take enough!

Personally I'm not a big Twilight fan, read the books on request by oldest DD, they were ok but never saw the movies yet. There's ALOT of vampire stuff going on before Twilight hit so big and this biting trend has been around much, much longer among some...groups. Yes, perhaps Twilight and all the other current vampireabilia brought it more to the forefront, but I think it's a disservice to the whole Twilight thing to say it was "inspired" by them, or maybe they like the attention?

OH I remember! Nobody Smoking Smarties here yet that I've heard of!

But that Codeine cough syrup really caught my eye- don't think the kids can't use something more readily available!

The codiene cold medicine high is nothing new - kids were getting high on what they called Triple C.... a cold remedy in pill form... 10 years ago when my two oldest were in high school.
