Yeah, Matt (16) and his first girlfriend didn't do more than hug until about the fourth date, and never more than a kiss on the cheek after that.

That is so great!!! I'm glad you liked the girl and sounds like she and your DS had a wonderful time.

That kiss at the door comes soon enough LOL!

So glad it all went well. At his age the first kiss does take a while. DD's friend has been going out with her bf for over a year now. It took him almost 6 months to kiss her. If it is the first gf it may take a while, but sooner or later it will. Be glad he isn't jumping right in without thought.

6 months! Wow I wish my children waited for anything that long.

Well Im glad that they had a nice date. To kiss or not to kiss on the first date depends on the person. Its also good that you like the girl...it makes everything 10 times easier, trust me.

Sounds like a perfect first date! As the mother of a DD, I am OKAY with the no kiss thing -- LOL! Of course, DD may have a different view ...

I'm glad he had a good time; he must have been higher than a kite last night!
