Sounds like a fun night ... and very nice that 'no date required'.
DD and I were just talking about her school's 11th grade semi-formal - it will be in the spring, and she's on the "semi committee" (which invites my unending joke of "what you can't afford a full committee?" - LOL I slay me). They've looked at a few clubs/resturants - and are trying to keep the costs to $50 a person. I think it will also be couple or alone, and once they figure out *where* to have it, they'll be able to do the rest of the planning.
Hope your DD has fun! Any pics?

They start the evening at the Chateau, go on a boat cruise on the other side of the "border" and end up at massive sleep overs at a few of the kids' homes. It's an all night event.
I never meant to imply that I agreed with that policy, just mentioned that was the way it was at that particular school!
Our school has The Tinsel Ball in December which is a winter formal. Some kids dress formal and some semi-formal. The whole school is allow to come if they can get tickets, couples or singles, but Kelsie says it really is more of a couples thing. There are only
How did the dance go?
