You are right; your son is wrong. Have that confidence-when you don't, your ex and your son are able to play you.
I think besides what sabrtooth said (which I think is a good idea) I would add that 1) the court either ordered dad to pay a certain amount of child support, which was based on his & your income or you & dad agreed that he would pay X amount and for him not to pay this is disobeying a court order or not living up to his agreement, and 2) that it doesn't matter what stepdad makes because legally it's not his responsibility to support kids who are not his, but even so, since dad isn't living up to his responsibility stepdad has no choice but to be the responsible guy, otherwise dear son would not be having a roof over his head & food.
I also thought you didn't want son to live at dad's so why would you be sending him back there?
First of all, you need to realize that your son is only parroting what he has heard his bio-dad say.
