Do other moms steal the spotlight?

I have been obsessing with a problem all week end and need to make a decision by tomorrow--tuesday I guess at the latest.

I understand where you are coming from. I hate when people take credit where it is not due them.
How about this, can't there be a chair at the podium that is high like a bar stool height? You could just sit there and have a hand held mic if need be, or you could sit there and when it was your time to speak you could stand and say what needs to be said and sit down again. Or do you need to walk out for each intro? If so, you could walk out and sit on that stool or chair at the podium. Would that maybe work out? I think you need to have some kind of agreement like Sue suggested and have it all written out as to who is doing what.
What I don't understand is how these two keep being chairs of a committee when they don't do any of the work. What would happen if they didn't have you to do it? What would happen if you divided up the work? Say this gal has to get her own bios together and if she doesn't have them, well then that's her problem. She's the one that would look like she didn't do her prep work, exactly like it is, right? Somewhere along the line you have to put your foot down and get the credit you deserve. I would bet the rest of the people in the organization know where the real work is done.
Good luck, stand up for yourself and let us know how things go.
I agree with Sue and Kristie.
