i am having an ongoing discussion with my dd , and i am curious what others think..

I am of the opinion, that if you want something - you speak up... and sometimes more than once.. when and if necessary.

i believe that parents epecially may be so busy or forget or have other things on our mind..and don't always remember.

My daughter believes all she needs to do is ask once.. and if we the parents do not get back to HER.

one of my problems, is that it seems after 9 months of therepy it seems that there are important things that are never discussed or brought up.

my dd behavior alarms me too.

here' a strange one for you too -

We allowed my dd to see her BF on Friday eve - as planned.. and just before she left - she actually gave me a HUG! .. A real HUG.. i was floored.. that's when i thougth.. what is up??

But i think my dd is starting to understand.. and actually came back from her Pizza date in 1/2 hr and sat on our lawn for the next hour...
