Eagle Scout reception...

A friend's son will be having his Eagle Scout ceremony and reception. We have been invited. Today I found a card. BUT I have NO idea about this. I know it is a BIG deal for a scout and especially for one who just turned 14!!! I have heard about his journey with this from both his mom and dad.

The question I have is, do you take a 'gift'?  (thinking money in card) Thought maybe someone here has experience with scouts.

Entirely up to your comfort level and what you would want to do. DS didn't get presents at his but then we don't have family locally. As fellow scouts/ASMs, we just gave a card at the many we attended over the years. (My parents had me get ds something when he got his, but otherwise he just got cards)

Thanks! I thought that someone here would have experience with this. :smileywink: I know from past experience that different parts of the country acknowledge things different, but on this, I think it is very similiar!

Thanks! I found a card, did I say that before? lol I'm thinking that it will be all. IF I do anything else it will just be a $10 bill..... His mom is one of my closest friends. (guess that means I am 'close' huh? lol)
