Eat all the Hallloween candy?

I like the neighborly part of Halloween, visiting each others houses in the neighborhood.

I had my ds15 grow up like I did, with plenty of 'junk' around the house.

I forget how old your kids are, but mine stopped trick or treating at 15. They would roam around, but not actually collect candy. Except last year, dd18 went with her friend and her friend's little sister and she collected some candy for herself.


I don't think I've really monitored their candy loot since they were about 12 or so. I just made sure they brushed their teeth each morning and night. Oh, and I stole all the chocolates that I like!!

I let my kids eat what ever they want for the first day or so, then I control it more and I land up throwing some out.

LOL. I have been known to start squirreling some of their candy away a little at a time, after the first few days. By then, they're starting to get bored with it anyway!
