My son is 12 1/2 and he still has occassional bedwetting episodes. When he was much younger it was far more frequent. Now in the past year its happened maybe 2 or 3 times but its really embarassing for him. I thought by now iy should be gone altogether. He is otherwise very healthy. Any one BTDT?

My son is always stressed out about something. He's, overall, a worrier. He worries about everything to some extent. Anything from his video games to activities at school to tests and homework -- you name it! There's nothing really too unusual going on right now -- same old thing -- but because he tends to be stressed out easily, it could be anything on his mind right now.

I'm sure that's the reason our DS was also a bedwetter until age 6 or 7. He slept sooo soundly. (I think that's also why he had night terrors at ages 8-10; he'd be up, out of bed, and acting out for a full ten minutes before he'd wake up sometimes.)

Good advice--to get enough sleep and keep regular hours.

DS had a sleepover when he was about 12, and one of his friends soaked our couch cushions. He was very embarrassed, but luckily he woke up before all the other guys, politely told me about it and I just told the other guys that something was spilled on the couch.
