With kids heading back to school, what activities are your kids getting back into?

Wow, everyone has such busy kids! How wonderful!!!

Ds, 13, is in 8th grade. He is in symphonic band at school, which meets 2 mornings a week and occational week night for practice. He is also in a creative writing group. He has confirmation class at church as well as Sunday school, he wants to join the teen group, last year he helped to teach the little ones. The younger boys loved him!! They will be bummed! Our church has a youth group, but it only meets now and then. He is in football now, that meets 3 days a week for 2 1/2 hours and then games and usually an extra practice on weekends. This will go right inot hockey season which goes into spring lacrosse! He is also acitve in scouts. He also does some intermural sports at school. He has 2 high school level classes this year, so he will land up with a bit more homework too.

Dd is a Senior this year! Yikes!! She is my busy one. She is on the school's tennis team now, will play club level hockey and lax, that will go into spring and she plays on the school's lax team. She is Nationa Honor's Soc. and German Nat Hon. Society, they both require some meetinga and volunteer work. She is also on the Future teachers club, German club that meet before school about once a month. Se is also in bowling club, and the president of Gamers Club and she and another senior are working on an art club! She is also teaches Sunday School, works 2 jobs and is acitive in scouts (with a mean scout leader, that would be me!!) She is taking a bunch of Ap or honors classes again, so that keeps her up at night trying to get everything in!

16yo DD, a junior, swore she would "only" do music and the literary magazine.

Kudos for you stepping up to help out with the boosters! That's a lot of work that's involved for it!

Jordyn is doing varsity cheer, competitive cheer and working part time, as well as her classes. I'm sure she'll add photography club not the mix once it starts up, but it'll depend in if the meeting days conflict with her work schedule.

In our case ds19 is in college - so none like he did when younger. He'll be in 7 classes plus working - between that and a steady gf, he'll be plenty busy!
