Connor (17) has a college interview coming up in Illinios.
Uh-oh, the gremlins are out to get me again. I see my posts never showed up from 1-20. How soon does Connor go?
You KNOW he'll do great, it will probably be one of those things he'll always remember and feel very accomplished!
Bloomington is an incredibly easy airport. We used it to fly to Orlando over the holidays. Small, friendly-he cannot get lost!!!
They certainly are friendly, aren't they?? If I knew at one point I must have forgotten that we are both central Illinoisian's! I'm in the Peoria area!
Is he looking at LCU?
Since everyone else has covered procedure, is your DS nervous at all about flying?
The summer my DD turned 15 she and her bff flew from Raleigh NC to LAX (with a layover in Dallas) by themselves.
Ramona Mom to 2 great kids and wife to one wonderful hubby since 1990!
Actually Pam he'd be flying into Bloomington.
My youngest, the space cadet, flew from IL to CO to see his GF at 18. Now, he had flown with us before but still, I was shocked at how well he handled it all-he had to handle connections, a small plane to be closer to her town, etc.
He should be fine. It never hurts to run through worse case scenarios(person who is to meet him doesn't show, for example).
