Gaming chairs?

My 14 yo DS has asked for a gaming chair for Christmas. They are all over the map in terms of quality and price, so I need some help. He actually wants two, one for himself and one for a friend, which makes sense. If your kid has a gaming chair, please give me your feedback. I should note that he is very tall (6') and likely to grow, so I do need an adult size chair.

We have two gaming chairs, one is electronic (meaning sounds from the video game can come through them) and the other is just a regualar one to sit in/rock.

This is the non-elctronic one we have:

It's pretty good, the main problem with it is that it can be a bit unstable- if you lean too far back, the chair will tip. Ironically, my kids like that it does that. I guess it's more of an "adventure" feel, lol.

This is the electronic one we have:

Great chair, sound is excellent, comfortable, etc. The only issue you might have with it is that it doesn't have an adjustable head rest so it might not be quite as comfortable for someone who is 6 ft.

Thank you! I think DH ended up getting the X-rocker or something like it. We just got one to start and if he needs more, we'll go the non-electronic route.

That's what we did too. We started with the electric one but since we have two boys, we needed two chairs. Our youngest son didn't seem to mind that the other one is non-electronic.
