Our son has a lap top comnputer. He got it at Christmas. They require them in the classrooms at the college he hopes to go to. It was cheaper for us to buy one of the same quality the college was offering at a much higher price. Yeah he likes playing that game World or War Craft. He had the lap top passworded out. Well we got passed that. I was able to see what he was doing. The histories show he was playing that game a lot. It did not show him doing any illegal. He has a handfull of instant message buddies. I cut a pasted that sending it back to my email. Of course deleting my histories. So he would not know what I just did. They all seem to be buddies from school. The only thing that bothered me what I found on his lap top. And I insisted dh have father son talk about when I'm not around. He did look at porn. Well I can understand why. He's a boy past puberty going on 18. He's curious about them things. I think this issue would be better for dh to talk to him about, over hearing it from his mother. If our son were a dd. Then it would be better for me to do that talk. Dh said he'd have words with him. The lap top is wireless for the internet. So dh has control of his useage from downstairs. At any point he can disable the wireless to his computer from the router box. Our son does not know the passwords to re enable it. Dh keeps changing passwords regular. So our son will never figure it out. So nights after we gone to bed. He disables it till morning. It's worked out ok. Keeps our son from staying up to late playing World of War craft then being tired in the morning for school. CTA is still looking up them numbers on the train/bus card. They'll be getting back to me soon. I just praythat our son was not planning on going to go off and do things he shouldn't. If I'm lucky. The card will have no value. So he won't be going anywhere anytime soon in Chicogo. After they get me the info I requested. Then I am confronting our son about it. Well last night our son did not have pep band. So him and a buddy went to the local state college. There was a science something they do every Friday and Sunday during the winter months. They went to a chemistry something. The friends father drove them there. After looking at our sons computer. I think he learned his lesson about the mess he got into with the feds. He has been talking about the college thing seriously the last few weeks. So that too is a good thing. I been seeing him hit the school books more than he used to. Maybe he's trying to do the right things. It's just now dealing with more adult stuff with him.
