We had a foot and a half of snow dumped on us last week; we are in the beginnings of another winter storm that is supposed to dump another foot (btw almost all the snow from last week's storm was almost gone!), and apparently Sunday we are supposed to get more.... This is starting to get a little ridiculous!

All you lucky southern people want to share the sun a little?? Please!!

I live near Boston and we don't have snow (that was for New Hampshire last night), we are having really cold, crappy weather. I keep looking at the 5-day forecast hoping that it will be above 60, but so far no. It's such a tease when you have a couple of warm days. Monday is the Boston marathon and it's supposed to be very cold & rainy. I have to go in the hospital, so I won't be missing anything. But I have been there when I was younger to watch and cheer on the runners. That wouldn't be fun in the rain.

We've got lousy weather here in MI, too. Constant clouds. All school sports were canceled here both yesterday and today. Living an hour east of Lake Michigan is not ideal--it's too far to travel to enjoy the lake, but close enough that we are always covered by lake effect clouds, snow, rain. On sunless days I do not even open the blinds cuz it's more depressing looking at the slop outside than it is living in a dark, neat and clean home. And it costs more to heat with the blinds left open. Living in Milwaukee, on the west side of the lake, was a whole lot better. I KNOW I must have SAD and look forward to getting to a sunnier VA, although last week DC weather wasn't much better than MI.

I've been off the board for a couple of days, and I'm not caught up yet, so you may have already mentioned your hospital visit. Hope it's nothing serious and all goes well.

Sorry, but I'm hanging on to what little good weather we get right now. ;) We had snow on Easter, but it was really nice this past Tues and Wed (so I hear--I was out of town!). Today, it's cool and pretty breezy (25mph winds) and a thunderstorm with hail is suppose to be blowing in this evening. So, we just hit a lick and miss a lick on decent weather down here. But, that's the way it is every spring. :)

BUT, I have to admit, whatever we get has got to be better than getting snow! LOL

Stingy :-p

I just can't get over this weather - it's plain nasty out there! We've been getting up into the 50's in between snow storms, just enough to melt the snow and tease us into thinking that spring is here!

And ha we had high 60's in January! Weird, weird, weird....

I'm only what, 2 or 3 hours north of you - just outside Portland, Maine - I too keep looking thinking this has GOT to end sometime soon!!

Hope all is well with your hospital visit!

A couple weeks ago I had some tulips in the yard that were ready to bloom.
