She could start complaining about how 'heavy' her purse is getting with all HIS stuff in it (on top of all the female necessities SHE needs) and maybe he could carry it for a while? lol
Because I tend to end up with way more stuff in my purse than I actually need, I purposely only get smallish purses -- only big enough to handle my (smallish) wallet, sunglasses, keys and lipstick.

Wellll..she could do as I have and quit carrying a purse! I'm the one who's always asking DH to put my stuff in his pocket, LOL! I leave most of my stuff (nail clippers, lotion, hair accessories) stashed in the car, and it helps that I don't wear makeup. I will have to relearn how to carry a purse if I end up with a job where I'm relying on public transportation.
The cold weather should help, right? T will have more pockets in a winter jacket. I hate having to stuff my jeans pockets full of things, so I don't blame the guys. Your DD could just hand her purse to T and ask him to carry it for a while. If he's too much of a macho type he might freak out, but if she does it enough he'll get the message.
You mean there are men out there that don't carry a screwdriver/pliers/corkscrew/fingernail file/measuring tape/ice scraper/chain saw/snow blower/dog groomer/hoof pick/tire pressure gauge/hair trimmer
