'hearts" - how is your DD this morning?

How is your DD feeling today? Please let us know what the doctor says when you seen him/her.
Sue

Hey, thanks for asking. DD's DR snet her for a blood work up, they are testing for everything they can think of. The DR also consulted with her neuro and he said that her symptoms are most definitely related to the meds - either a withdrawal from the old or a side effect from the new (she's not on anything anymore now). They reassured us that taking the Ativan is safe right now to see her through the tremors, etc., and not to worry. Apologized for the dizziness that causes, but there really is nothing else they can do. So, now we wait for the blood work, give her the ativan as needed and we have a call into the psychiatrist, as the neuro suggested that she be seen by him asap. The psych is supposed to call me tonight, it's almost 8:30 PM here, so I'm not sure when I can expect that call. I am connected to my cell waiting.
DD's tremors began in the DR's office this AM at about 10:30 so that was good, actually, for them to be seen there. She's holding her own right now. Her headache is still present, but the tremors have subsided for now. We'll see about later.
Thanks again.
Good news! DD feels better! The headache is gone, the stomachache is gone, the nausea is gone and the dizziness is gone. Her last tremor was yesterday at the DR's office at 10:30 AM and she hasn't shown any further tremors since. She slept through the night without any difficulties (as did I!!) and this morning she woke up and looked really really good. Like her old self.
I am crying tears of joy! Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers. It means so much to me that she had so many people sending positive vibes her way - it worked!
She thinks she can do whatever she wants now, but I told her she must be symptoms free for at least 2 days before she can get back into her regular routine.
Great news!! Hope she continues to feel better and better! <<> reminds me of when they were little and "I'm bored" was the best indication that illness was over and a joy to hear!
Sue
What great news! I hope the rest of her recovery goes well!
