Hello is anyone still here?

The Parents of College Students is picking up very slightly so I'm assuming some of the bugs are getting worked out. I still can't see replies or post on my Iphone but can do everything fine here. I use Firefox. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Justin and I are getting ready to head out to check out the new city museum in our nearby city.
I am really hoping all these glitches w/ the new system didn't drive everyone away.
Today is nice & warm--hard to believe a major hurricane is coming soon. I am keeping my eye on the weather forecast--and went out to buy some rain boots.
Seconding what Music said, I hope posters will resume and not be driven away. I have missed the boards. I guess regular posting is working, but not quick reply yet.
We are in full swing of our climax year with DS18 - my difficult (always has been), very strong willed with lazy-itus, combined with no strong male until 4 years ago, and useless almost non existent in his life Dad. In his typical style, was failing a class for the 3rd time in the new year (all of 10 wks), but our new tactic of standing firm on total grounding until the class is getting the classes passing quicker than our previous methods (no xbox or computer - so had none of these most last year). We are an example of how challenging it is to stand our ground especially with an absent Dad and a strong willed now teen, and OTOH how what we are doing is also getting results. His sister 3 years younger will be getting her drivers permit in January and at this rate will be getting her license before DS18!! Cant help but laugh to myself at the irony!

Did you do anything different to get the above post to work? (Trying to troubleshoot why your 1st one came up blank).
Thanks to everyone for continuing to hang in there with us! Unfortunately, Hurricane Sandy has hit the area where our iVillage office (and our tech team!!) are so that's also causing a bit more delay :( Just hoping that everyone is safe, though!

Cmlisa, thanks for asking. Its a few days ago now, and I had already tried the quick post and that didnt work in IE, then tried regular reply in Chrome, Im new to Chrome but every time I use it I hate it, (but I am also just sooo used to IE) - and my posting didnt work there. So went back to IE and tried regular posts not quick reply - and believe I did for both so no I think I did same for both, but first post took longer to write cause it was longer! - would have been the only difference. Fingers crossed to see this one!

Woo-hoo, I can see your latest reply ! Definitely keep using the "regular" reply instead of "quick reply" for the time being since I'm hearing about a lot of issues with "quick reply".
