Homecoming?

If you have a high schooler does your school have Homecoming? Do they have a football game? A dance? Are your kids going? Our small midwestern community is huge on high school football. The homecoming game is Friday, Sept. 23 and the dance is Saturday the 24th. I haven't been to a high school football game in years - Justin only did band through sophomore year so I guess the last Homecoming game I went to would have been in the fall of 2006. The boys each went to a couple Homecoming dances - a couple with a group of friends and each went to at least one with their current high school 'true love'.

Homecoming is pretty popular at the high schools here in Tampa.
We do not have high school homecoming here. Didn't have that when I was in school either. Plus,high school sports are not a big deal here; no marching bands & not that many spectators at games. It is important to the players,of course. But it is not important to the non-players.
The universities do have homecoming. I don't think it is a big thing at the colleges.
All things football are a big deal here in Texas.
