I was 12 or 13 I believe -- in 8th grade. We had a free period or something at school and some kids got the bright idea to play "spin the pen" which was "spin the bottle" without the bottle...lol. Most times when it landed on me it was innocent pecks, on the lips. But then one guy, on whom I had a HEEUUGE crush, decided to do the full on french kiss thing. It was probably the wettest, most sloppy disgusting kiss I ever had! It turned me off "kissing" for quite some time!

It wasn't until I was in 10th grade I think, after that, that I got a true sense of what a really good kiss could be like....

I was 13 - in 8th grade. I had been visiting a friend's house, and her then boyfriend walked me home. Actually, he walked me HALFWAY home, because if my father had seen me walking with a boy, he would have had a fit. We split up at a particular corner, and he kissed me under a streetlight. It was the most romantic moment I had had up till that point and, in all honesty, since.

We ended up dating off and on all through high school and then lost touch. Twenty-four years later, we reconnected, and during the course of the next two years, he systematically destroyed my self-esteem, turning me into a non-functioning babbling ball of goo (at 42 years old, mind you), AND participated in the destruction of my finances.

As my DS 18 says "Mom, when he gave you that first kiss, he had a GIRLFRIEND! You should have known right then and there!"

No matter what, though - it was truly the most romantic first kiss anyone could ever ask for.

Eighth grade must have been a magical time for everyone!

I was in eighth grade at a dance. I went to a Catholic school. In order to even talk to each other we had to leave. I left with this great guy who went to another school, we started taking a walk and ducked into to the corner of an alley. The kiss was good by eighth grade standards! I just can remember how good he smelled, I think it was a cologne called Aramis that was popular way back when.

We never really dated or anything, just talked. My senior year of high school he started dating my best friend from school, they are now married with 4 children and he is a football coach of a local high school team and my dd's b/f has attended his quarterback camps.

Fun to look back!!!

I think I was also in 7th or 8th grade (12/13). I would meet this boy Joe each evening when he walked his dog Penny and we'd talk, stare at each other, kind of prance around uncomfortably and then one night, he leaned in and we pecked a kiss goodnight. I think I floated all the way home!

My first juicy kiss was when I was 14 and I remember being shocked that people actually did that and it felt good! Hhaha - I was so naive.

Oh gosh ... I think I was a freshman in high school, so 14 probably. I was 'going out' with this boy from the neighborhood and I'm not sure why I was. Probably just one of those things we did so we could say we 'had a boyfriend', because I didn't really like him all that much and really didn't want to kiss him so avoided it for quite some time.

He finally got me one night ... when we were sitting on the front portch of my parents house. It was absolutely nothing special and a year or so later, when I kissed someone I really did like, it was so much better!

DD and most of her friends haven't had their first kiss yet. I tell her that it will be so much more special if she waits until she can kiss somebody she actually likes and has some feelings for, rather than kiss just any old Joe, just so she can say she'd been kissed.

I hope she believes me!

Well, another 8th grader getting kissed here...LOL

It was the summer before my Freshman year, I was 14 I think. Anyway, a neighbor girl (she lived one block down and was a year older than me) was having a boy/girl party (do they still call them that???) She invited me and my mom actually let me go (shock!!). We were playing some game and they rigged it where I would kiss this guy that I had been seeing (not dating, mind you). Anyway, we go into the dark closet (!!!) and he french-kisses me. AACCCKKKK!! Oh, that was just NASTY! I freaked! I ran out of the closet and ran all the way home. ROFL Poor guy, he had no idea I had never kissed a boy, much less *that* way. To his credit, he did call and apologize. But, yuk.

My second kiss was during that same school year. I was "going out" with a different boy and at some point in time he told me he wanted to kiss me. I told him he better keep his tongue in his mouth!!

Ok, I'll play!

First kiss was in 1st grade with a boy during recess. He didn't want to have a gf, so he kissed me and it made another girl leave him alone. Selfish boys.

Second was when I was about 15. A early 20ish friend of the family came over to vist, he'd had a little too much. I'd had a crush on him already and that was my first big kiss. Ohlala. Made my crush even worse.

The first REAL kiss with a guy my age, well he was a year younger. It was at the end of my senior year, in the library last period of the day. I had a crush on him, and I think he liked me too. I went to CC that fall and he moved. Never heard from him again.

I think the first "really real" kiss was when I was 17...*ahem* but I made up for lost time and ended up living with the guy.
