Got the biggest snow of ds15's life - about 6". Not that big to us ex-Chicagoans here in STL, but he loves it. I hope they have time to clear everything off today so they can have their finals and winter break without interruptions; ds might say otherwise!

Here in the Western NY area we are having quite a bit of snow. There is a storm watch or warning on until tomorrow morning (which ever of those is worse) We were suppose to go cut our Christmas tree today, but we won't be going anywhere. :(

Up here in northwester CT, it was a couple of inches of snow and it's mostly been icing all morning. Nothing exciting at all. I had hoped to watch it snow as I baked this morning. I am worried as to how dd18 will make it home from her friend's house today with all the ice. I called and told her to wait until 3 or so to attempt driving. I'm hoping by then the roads will be well plowed and salted!

The snowstorm we got on Thursday was ten times more amazing than this!! It was the kind of snowstorm that reminded me of my childhood. I love those blizzardous snows! Well, the first couple of times anyway.

We are in the midst of it today. Last I heard, it was to be about 20 inches but by the way it is coming down, I wouldn`t be surprised that it is more.
Further south of us, near Lake Ontario, they were talking 40 to 50 inches. I haven`t check the news yet so I don`t know how much thay got.

Visibility is pretty bad but we are use to this type of thing. This is Canada, after all.
At least with the snow, it isn't that cold. Most people are staying off the roads so the snow plows can do their job.

sorry I meant 20 cms not inches. (2.54 cm is 1 inch). That`s only about 7.8 inches.
