Ok, Since I came to this board, probably 7 months ago, I have had difficulties with my oldest DS 16. I have to say that tonight, I looked at my children, DS 16 DS 14 and DD 6 who came to us from Guatemala and felt soooooo blessed. The two oldest had friends over for dinner and a movie and we all ate a wonderful meal prepard by DH. Two extra girls and a boy.....the three couples are considering going to Homecomming together next week :) Anyway, before I get too long winded, I just really wanted to say that through all of what seemed like terrible times, I am so happy to see my two teenage boys being sweet, responsible and loving boys and brothers :) OK....so a glass of wine and I'm pretty sappy tonight. I guess it was just time for one of those "I love my kids" posts :)

Sometimes we need these kind of posts to remind us what blessings we really do have. Now let me get sappy.
Last night Jaryd was at a friends house for the night, dh is out of town, so it was just Kelsie and me. We had such a nice evening together. We both did our separate things for a while then she came down here in the office with me and we spent about 2 hours together, talking, laughing, her drawing for her art class, making a card for my niece who is very ill and me writing 100 Things I know about Kelsie, my daughter. for my blog. We had a great time just being together. We both love our one on one time and it always reminds me that she is really a wonderful young lady under all that PMS and attitude that comes out sometimes.
Thanks for starting this thread, maybe more will post about their blessings.

Thanks for the sappy post!! We all need reminders from time to time to enjoy our teens for who they are.
