I got ny ds so GOOD for April Fools

I called home on the cell phone and pretended like it was someone from the school calling to tell me school was closed because of a gas leak. He heard me and starts jumping up and down with excitement screaming "NO SCHOOL!! NO SCHOOL!!" Then he calls one of his friends to tell her and while he was one the phone, that's when I whispered to him "April Fools" Man, was he pi$$ed at me. But it was so funny. And it was sweet revenge for all the grief he puts me through. Like yesterday he tells me it's my fault that he got a lower grade for gym yesterday because I didn't put his gym shorts in his gym bag. I KNOW I did, so after dinner, we went back to the school to look in his locker for them. You know where they were? On the floor in front of his locker.
So next April Fools, feel free to borrow that one from me to pull on your kids. ;-)

she's really uptight about being on time and gets up and dresses perfectly etc. So, dh and I were going to set the clocks ahead an hour, hide the clothes she laid out last night and then run into her room and shout something like: "Oh my God, we all overslept, you have ten minutes to dress and catch the bus!!!" She would have freaked and we would have died laughing!!! Oh well, next year...
I'll have to remember that one for my younger dd next year though ;-)
