Get kicked of the boards for this, and I guess if you never see me posting again, that is what happened, but I really have to say that I am so sad at what I think is going on on this board.

I don't know that Anon was a troll in the typical sense of the word, but he did manage to cause a whole lot of hard feelings within a matter of just a few posts.

Candledance,

I was around when anonajohn was here and his post were too much for me to take. Everything was confrontational and I left for a good long time. I have just come back in the last 6 months or so and things were the way they were before he had come to the board. It wasn't just Rose or a few that had problems with him it was everyone on the board, just ask anyone who was around here at the time. But he is long gone from this board.

I'm glad I came back and I do really care about the people on this board.

Like rose said - his style was definitely more suited to a debate board.

I started lurking on this board when Jason was a 12yo 7th grader.

Thanks for explaining the issue.. The "light bulb" finally went off in this rather old and "not too swift" brain of mine!

I was at work today; came home rather wiped and not in a good mood. And then I sat down in front of my trusty laptop (hey, the TV is not even on!) and saw this long thread! As I posted (while reading the thread), I wasn't even aware there was a problem. I guess I am even more clueless than I have been constantly accused of by my siblings.

Please no one take offense. I post this with respect but why so touchy ladies & gents? So, some near stranger posts too many times or posts rather well, "she has to be kidding" posts? Many times people posts when they are frustrated or just are venting. And sometimes because they are in the middle of the forests with all the trees, they cannot see the forest. Granted, it is much easier to see the forest when you are overhead in a helicopter. And sometimes you are too high up to see the leaves (the details). We all sometimes need someone in the helicopter giving us their global prospective.

So, please don't take this all this so personal. Ignore the person or tell them respectively that you disagree or just provide your advice and ignore or do what I do sometimes (more often than not these days). Scratch your head (in my case my gray head) and say to yourself "huh?", write a post but don't press the "post" button.
You wouldn't believe the number of times I thought I responded to a post but actually didn't go through with it (Must be old age!)

The person who should be drinking tea but doesn't.

PS I first visited these boards about 7 years ago. I honestly don't remember what my name was back then.

"Look back into the posts for the last couple of months and you will see what we are talking about"

I lurk on this board on a daily basis. I thought the first round of this discussion was uncalled for and now to bring it up again is just

I have no idea why you are all so threatened by some one who has posted numerous times with questions but has not hurt anyone.
