Sounds like Z is doing alright for himself. Someday he'll be buying you your favorite sports car for your birthday!
DS24 is still driving the 2001 Impala we handed down to him two years ago as a graduation gift. He's racking up the miles on it cuz he uses it for work, too. He keeps saying he wants to buy a truck when he needs to replace it, although I'm not sure his gf would approve, and I wonder if he'll ever have enough money for a down payment. (This weekend he drove up to NYC to visit some friends from HS & college.) I always swore I'd never date anyone who drove a pickup truck, and we never owned one, but maybe he inherited a bit of my practicality. He's always moving stuff and plans to move again in summer so a pickup truck would come in handy.
LOL my son is just like that really laid back. he could get something he really wanted and loves and it's judt a smile a mile wide and a thanks. NO "oh man I love it!" or anything lol
He is so laid back sometimes it's really hard to tell if hes excited or not lmao
I'd rather be sailing
God determines who walks into your life...it's up to you to decide, who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go
You are down to one kiddo, Rose! Get that little red sports car!
I love that sports car that can be Saturn or Pontiac-Sky or Solstice are the names
I just put tires on the Corolla so it wont be THIS year but Im thinking of that for my next vehicle-or maybe a Mini
Getting the Corolla was this big 'no van or SUV' statement for me and it was funny how many women my age oohed and aahed over this little entry level car-all thinking the same thing, Im sure.
I'd be jealous too!

Good for him!
Take comfort in knowing that, odds are, someday he will be driving that minivan...
