I've never read any books by that author, but I do remember reading a review on 'Family Tree' and recall it being rated pretty highly. I hope you enjoy it.
I just picked up Tracey Chevelier's new book "Burning Bright". She wrote 'Girl with the Pearl Earring', 'Virgin Blue', and several others that I have really liked. The historial aspects and details in her books in just amazing. Guess what city 'Girl with the Pearl Earring' is set in? Yup, where we're headed off to later this week! It's always fun to visit (or have visited) the actual places I've read about.
I enjoy reading as well. I've read most of her books but can't remember that one specifically. I hope you enjoy it.
I just finished on by Carla Neggers called Cut and Run. It was very interesting. It reminded us of the Holocaust but did it in today's setting. It also reminded me that most people have many, many sides to them. You might want to check it out.
I don't belive I've ever read Delinsky, however, I read about a book a week! I LOVE the library, but I have a dangerous addiction with Barnes & Noble, & Borders!! I can spend $60-$100 on a pinch, which is scary because that doesn't by a whole lot of books and I go through them like water!
I just picked up 2 more last night and I'm reading them simultaneously.
